Knitting 101| Michaels | Online

Our Introduction to Knitting class is designed for beginners, so if you have never knitted before this is the class for you! We will teach you how to tie a slip knot, cast on, work the knit stitch, join a new color, bind off, and weave in the ends. We will also review reading a simple pattern, some knitting abbreviations and vocabulary. After you finish this class, you will be well on your way to making your first project! All it takes is some practice and determination. You will have all of the information to make the cowl that is pictured in the class description.Watch for Knitting 102, and 103 to help continue your progress.
