Kids: Making a Theme Song | Apple Store

Reserve a spot at an Apple store to learn how to create a theme song for your favorite show, book, or game using GarageBand on iPad. We’ll cover rhythm basics, and kids will get hands-on with experimenting with Smart Drums, adding pre-recorded loops, and remixing their theme song. Recommended for ages 8–12.
Bring your iPad or we’ll provide one. Apple Labs are free, but you must reserve a space in advance. Dates, times, and availability vary by location. For sessions with amplified sound, hearing loop technology is available on request.
Marian’s Note: CelebrateFamily includes activities such as this because they are free and seem like an easy way to keep kids interested in technology without spending a lot of money.
