FreeExternal Virtual Event: Girl Stars: Scratch Programming Contest!
Calling all girls ages 9-13 (grades 5-8) to sign up for a Scratch Programming Contest hosted by Digital Educate!
Come make amazing Scratch projects and there will be several prizes awarded to the winners for their projects!!
During the event, students will hear from diverse women leaders in the tech industry, students will be given the theme of the contest on that day, and will work on their individual projects using Scratch.
Requirements/Eligibility:
The students must have a working laptop/computer, prior experience in Scratch programming, an account registered with scratch.mit.edu.
They should be able to create their own projects.
Students images and likenesses will be collected as part of this program.
