January 14, 2024 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Enjoy a day of art and family fun at Second Sundays for Families! Join us for Second Sundays for Families, a program at the museum featuring art-making and storytelling around a different theme each month.
January 14: The Many Threads of Pacita Abad
This free Family Day is dedicated entirely to the beautiful artwork of Pacita Abad. Join us to make masks, wearable art, and a textile scrapbook that you can take home and use, modeled after Abad’s own textile scrapbook, which you can see in the exhibition on Floor 4. As always, we’ll have a scavenger hunt, storytime with the San Francisco Public Library, some sweet giveaways, plus some very special guest performances.
