Calabazas Branch Library hosts: Finance for Students (Virtual) by Korekloud.
This is a 4 part series intended for 4th to 8th graders. This course will help kids understand how important finance is in daily life. This is a valuable resource that is no longer taught in school as home economics has been removed from most curricula.
Topics covered include basic financial vocabulary, writing checks, types of savings accounts, how to save and why to save, and retirement plans. Only 1 sign-up needed per family. Links to Zoom meeting will be sent out 2 days before the event and an additional reminder 2 hours before the event (for late sign-ups). Please make sure you register with a valid email!
