Monochromatic Collage and Blackout Poetry Part 1 | MoAD

April 13 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Free

Join us for a Family Art Workshop! This workshop is part one of a two part activity, Monochromatic Collage and Blackout Poetry, though each part can stand alone as well.

Part 1: Monochromatic Collage

During this workshop, we will be using a magazine and scissors to make monochromatic or one color collages. For example, if red is the color you chose you would cut out around 20-30 pieces of all the red found in your magazine. You can use old magazines, newspapers, or printed images you like.

Audience:  10 years old and older. This is meant to be a craft the entire family can do, so an adult supervisor is required to attend, and highly encouraged to craft alongside the child. No artistic skill required!

Supplies: A magazine, scissors, glue or tape, and base paper (printer or construction paper, your base can be any color you would like to use)

Tickets: Free but donation is requested.
