Explore Shape with Virtual Children’s Discovery Museum at SJPL

Join us for scavenger hunt in the Museum to find an element of art. Create a unique artwork exploring the element that you found.

Photos or videos taken in the Museum will be shared via Share Screen feature in Zoom to display them to attendees. Learn how a line becomes a shape. Explore organic and geometric shapes found at home. Create a unique artwork using shapes you find around you.

Recommended for grades K-2.

Materials needed: White paper, pencil, black marker, color pencils or markers: red, blue, yellow; household objects such as scissors, cups, rulers.
