de Young Museum – Free Admission
- Free the first Tuesday of each month for everyone.
- Free every Saturday for Bay Area residents (all 9 counties!). Qualifying counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma. Saturdays are great days for families as there are kid/teen specific activities. You can skip the line by reserving your tickets in advance.
- Free the first full weekend of each month with a BofA Bank of America ATM, credit or check card.
- Visitors ages 17 and under always receive free admission to the permanent collection galleries.
Free admission is to permanent galleries and special exhibitions.
Closed Christmas and Thanksgiving, but visit the site to confirm hours and if the museum is open.
