FreeToday: Coding with CS First – Game Design (Advanced Level) – Virtual
CS First is a fun computer science program for elementary and middle school students.
Participants in the Game Design course will learn basic video game coding concepts by making different types of games, including racing, platform and launching. This class will be held in the Scratch programming environment – a free, block-based programming tool developed by MIT where learners “snap” together blocks of commands that the computer can carry out.
Students in 2nd-5th Grade (Ages 7-11) are welcome. This program is aimed at kids who have already completed a beginners level class in Scratch or already have equivalent experience in Scratch.
