Calabazas Branch Library hosts: CalTutors AMC 10 Preparation Class.

The AMC 10 is a nation-wide mathematics competition for students from Grades 10 and below that includes challenging problems that cover geometry, algebra, combinatorics, counting, probability, and more. This course will cover topics that will be tested as well as a large majority of questions on the contests. Students should have a solid background in Algebra 1 and some experience with geometry. We will build on previous knowledge as well as provide a multitude of new strategies and topics that will help students qualify for the AIME.

No Class Dec 26th or January 2nd.

Audience: The intended audience is 11 to 17 year olds. Source
