Women’s D1 Soccer Championships – December 5-8, 2019 Avaya Stadium

The 2019 D1 Women’s Soccer Cup (NCAA Championship) will be at Avaya Stadium Friday December 6 – Sunday December 8, 2019.  Besides the soccer matches, fans can watch the teams at open practices on Thursday, December 5, and free fan festivals on both Friday, December 6 and Sunday, December 8 when the gates open.

Along the way, Elmo and Abby, joined by their friends Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Grover, Rosita, Count von Count, and Gonger, discover the many magical moments in everyday life.

Fire Prevention Event for Families at Lowe’s

Stop by (select) Lowe’s on Saturday, October 12 between 10 am and noon for family-focused fun to teach families about equipping their homes with smoke and CO alarms, as well as planning and practicing a fire escape plan. October is Fire Prevention Month a great time to check your smoke and CO alarms, plus get your kids involved in creating a fire escape plan.

Children will have the opportunity to build a wooden fire truck in a one-time kids’ workshop and will receive firefighter hats, coloring books and educational materials, while supplies last.

In addition, smoke and CO alarms will be on display, including First Alert’s 10-year sealed battery alarms that provide reliable protection for a decade without the hassle of battery replacements.
